Who is it for?

Without an employer plan, retirement rests entirely on your own decisions. A plan turns a vague worry into a few precise numbers.

  • Incorporated professionals and self-employed people with no employer plan
  • People 10 or 15 years from retirement who want a precise number
  • Couples who want to coordinate their savings

Frequently asked questions

Another question? Call Ajet at 514 419-4920.

At what age should I start my QPP pension?

The QPP retirement pension can start between 60 and 72, and each year you wait increases it. The right age depends on your health, your other income and your spouse.

RRSP or TFSA?

The RRSP lowers your tax today, the TFSA saves you tax later. The choice depends mostly on your current and future tax rate, and often both have a place.

Is it too late if I am 55?

No. The last years before retirement are often when you can save the most, and the order in which you draw your savings matters as much as the savings themselves.
